Andersen Material Handling adds second South Florida location
Responding to warehousing market demands, Andersen opens new facility in the heart of Miami-Dade County.
WIXOM, MI, April 1, 2023 – Andersen Material Handling (AMH) announces the grand opening of a new facility in Miami, Florida. “It’s actually a re-opening”, explains Bob DiDia, VP of the Florida Division in Deerfield Beach. “AMH relocated from Miami to Deerfield Beach in 2001. Since that time the Miami Dade market has outpaced the rest of the state in warehousing growth. The new location allows us to respond quicker and more effectively to Miami Dade businesses and put our expanding rental fleet closer to the needs of the customer.” AMH provides forklifts, parts & service, warehouse optimization and industrial material handling equipment. The new facility on 135th Avenue is at the center of one of the fastest-growing industrial areas in southeastern Florida.
The new location positions Andersen Material Handling to better serve the entire south Florida area. “Our customers have grown accustomed to our excellent service and fast response time,” says DiDia. “Here, we’ll be able to service and meet with local businesses quickly and efficiently.” Andersen employs dozens of Service Technicians dispatched daily for on-site equipment maintenance and repair, as well as a full repair shop to handle larger repairs and re-builds. In addition to material handling equipment sales and service, the company also offers short-and long-term rentals on most industrial equipment. As a full-service distributorship carrying industry-leading manufacturers such as Raymond and Komatsu, AMH also provides new and replacement parts, storage solutions, warehouse planning services, engineering studies, and OSHA compliant safety and technical training.
